If you owned a platform, as Microsoft owns LinkedIn, and a certain percentage of users thought a part of it was 'AI Crap', would you kill it?

Sadly it's paywalled, but if you have a subscription and are as pissed off with the wanky collaborative LinkedIn articles as I am, this is well worth a read. (And not just because I'm quoted in it.)

Ooh, it's me!

I keep receiving invitations to contribute to LinkedIn collaborative articles that offer 'writing advice' and which read like they are generated by ChatGPT--and it turns out many of them are. And LinkedIn uses these articles to train AI models. A lose-lose for readers, it seems.

I used some choice words to describe the linkedin collaborative articles and a much more eloquent woman quoted me in her article.
