New Louisville QB Jack Plummer lost his job at Purdue to NFL preseason phenom Aidan O’Connell, now of the Raiders. Plummer was more highly recruited, but had a 4-9 record as a starter, vs O’Connell’s 18-10 record

Love seeing footage from NFL training camps, but can’t stand accounts posting video of one rep from 1v1’s and making outlandish statements.

A) 1v1’s are for working on your craft/new moves.

B) Literally every player wins/loses reps every single day. One rep tells nothing.

Sad. I don’t have the answer, but feels like college football is losing what made it unique along many dimensions (and conference realignment is one, and it clearly will continue).

Come for the first “highlight” which would now be an egregious targeting foul (announcer even says that looks like a “headache”), and stay for Nick Saban losing on a missed field goal and looking on with disgust
