So many extraordinary highlights guiding for Naturetrek in Madagascar. The Giraffe Weevils were amazing & the Milky Way in the Spiny Forest was spectacular! A few days to go and so many highlights to share. Next trip back here in 2025 if interested.
Another fine few days guiding for Naturetrek on the Somerset Winter Wildlife tour. Plenty of highlights with 11 Crossbill leading the list for many. The male Red-crested Pochard though starred as it photo-bombed our group shot at Cheddar Reservoir; magic!
Another fine week featuring the Forest of Dean & Somerset Levels for Naturetrek. Plenty of winter wildlife on show with lots of memorable moments. This tour will run again in November 2024.
Fabulous first couple of days co-leading a Provence trip for Naturetrek. Such an interesting place with so much wildlife & history. Over 2000 Cranes, Wallcreeper, Water Pipit, Glossy Ibis with Hen Harrier, Booted Eagle, Firecrest, Rock Sparrow & more.
Another successful photographic tour to The Gambia completed last week. A fabulous 8 days exploring the mangroves, wetlands and forest close to Banjul for Naturetrek. Too many highlights to show here but for more details please visit my website.
Currently leading two tours to Thailand for Naturetrek. The first is a birdwatching trip and so far we've seen 275 birds in 9 days with some incredible highlights. The best probably was the Hodgson's Frogmouth (see below). Next tour will be in February 2025.

An amazing first day exploring the Isle of Mull for Naturetrek. These shots of two separate females and kits were taken during the first morning. Fieldcraft is so important to prevent disturbance & maximise the customer experience. A wonderful start to the tour.
A mixture of White-tailed & Golden Eagle images from our first afternoon on Mull for Naturetrek. Another brilliant experience and a very happy group! The goldie was superb in such a glorious blue sky. Thanks to Martin Keivers for another super outing.

Another successful Forest of Dean in Spring tour completed for Naturetrek. Birds, mammals and butterflies galore including some stunning Wood White, Nightjar, incredible displaying Woodcock, Pied Flycatcher, Common Shrew, Wild Boar & lots of bats!
Fab first three-night tour for Naturetrek to the Cotswolds AONB this week. So many highlights including 16 species of orchid, butterflies, moths, birds and mammals. Great food, excellent wildlife and wonderful landscapes.
A dream to reach St. Kilda this week with Naturetrek. Amazing wildlife in the Hebrides despite the challenging weather. Landings on Hirta, North Uist, Canna, Sanday, Rum & Lunga so far. Spectacular seabird cliffs, stunning Puffins, elusive Corncrakes & cute Snipe chicks!
Absolutely buzzing after seeing five Snow Leopard together on my current Mongolia tour for Naturetrek. A mother with four of last year’s cubs. Two shown here. Stunning landscapes & wonderful mammals & birds too, what a place.
