That They May Face The Rising Sun was sublime. Packed house - beautiful acting - sounded & looked fantastic. Don’t miss the chance to see it large and loud in the company of cinemagoers and with the phone turned off. It’s special. brendan byrne
An incredibly -deservedly- warm reception for the team behind That They May Face the Rising Sun screening and discussing this stunning at John McGahern adaptation with Hugh Odling-Smee Queen's Film Theatre last night. It’s a long time since I lost myself so completely in a film.
A great pleasure to host brendan byrne and Lalor Roddy tonight in Queen's Film Theatre for a post screening discussion after a sold out screening of this very moving and powerful film. Don't miss seeing it in the cinema, and that's the holy all of it.
I missed this match tonight for various reasons but that was the best season of football I've seen from Dundela FC - yes the last month was wick, but the memories will keep us going through the empty summer months.
Up the Rip Roaring Duns.
I bet you Lord Bew's panel of history doesn't even pause to consider the impact of Sam Cree on European theatre culture. #lisburnshakespeare
