The debate about Majority Voting in the EU is going in circles. To shed more light on how QMV is actually used in practice, at SWP we have compiled and today publish a database of all public votes in the Council since 2010 - the EU Council Monitor:

Young people are up to 5% more likely to vote if their favorite party has a main candidate under 40 than over 70. And that's only been the case since the mid 00's!
