Indulge me a little for some early-morning insomniac-entrepreneur rambling.

This month, I've been reflecting heavily on our journey at Fundi Bots and as always, I lean pragmatic optimist.

It has been a tough year (so far) with a lot of funding rejections, missed targets due to resource constraints and constant navigation of culture alignment and employee satisfaction in a rapidly growing organization.

The data shows us the places we need to constantly improve: team wellbeing and purpose; design and prototyping speed; technical and leadership skills; operational efficiencies for minimal cost per beneficiary and; long-term fiscal resilience.

But it's also been incredibly rewarding to see our work grow and evolve in such positively unexpected ways.
This year alone, Fundi Bots has so far provided transformational science education and support for almost 19,000 students in Uganda (and about 400 students in KE & TZ).

Education that is miles ahead of what they were getting before - and yet not even close to our true dream for Africa's future.

I was joking to someone recently that you wake up one day and casually say 'I'd like to improve the quality of education' and the next thing you know, you're considering building academies and factories across the continent.

But the combined data on both sides of the pragmatic-optimism scale show that we are on the right track, with great results from both school-level and national-level results.

One of my favorite anecdotal stories is how teachers from schools that don't have Fundi Bots support are going to Fundi Bots' schools to learn from their fellow teachers and carry out experiments then taking that knowledge back to their own schools.
