You're caught up in emotional manipulation and a need to seem like a 'good' person. It's going to backfire.

Claiming that you got better after receiving some treatment is not good evidence that the treatment worked. There are too many potential confounds, and evidence-based medicine is designed to ensure that we only use interventions with a proven positive cause-effect relationship.

It's important we don't recreate the hierarchy of suffering, and listen to everyone's experience.

Society is compensating for the failure of ‘affirming’ doctors and therapists to tell many of their patients the truth, namely that they cannot change their sex and cannot expect others to perceive that they have.

2: this doctor offered to write for surgery funding for me the same appointment I met her. I didn’t ask, she didn’t evaluate.

The reactions of trans women to these two detransitioners are very telling. They expose that for them masculinity is inferior. Looking like a woman is an upgrade to them, because they have such negative associations with men and being male. It's a trauma reaction to their sex.
