10/These results suggest that the landscape of changing gene regulation in dermal and epidermal cell types may be an important component of , and that dermal and epidermal genes may be therapeutic targets.

9/The most significant SPITS interaction eQTL was rs1491377616-LCE3C. The SNP is associated with psoriasis genetic risk and it colocalizes with the psoriasis risk allele. This gene is specifically expressed in keratinocytes. Increased inflammation magnifies the effect of the SNP.

8/Intriguingly, most eQTLs modulated by local skin inflammation in psoriasis are expressed in dermal and epidermal cell types and not immune cell types. We observed that most SPITS-interacting eGenes are skin cell-specific (62/84) rather than immune cell-specific.

US PIs - Does your organization have newly enforced regulations about hiring Iranians? We were informed that due to the 'changing geopolitical environment' an Export License and Technology Control Plan is now required for recruitment from Iran and a few other countries. 1/6
