Where are we?

There's a 17th century house hiding behind the blossom, home to a world-famous, Nobel Prize-winning writer.

He described it as 'a real house in which to settle down'. His children roamed the grounds like it was their own private jungle.

As a mark of respect for Mottistone Gardens' Head Gardener, and to allow staff and volunteers to attend his funeral, our places on the Isle of Wight will be closed on 24 April. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your understanding.
