All of the Conservatives I interact with on Twitter have known each other for years. When you Google them - you can see pages of search engine results about their life history. They did not appear on the scene out of nowhere. There is only one person who did.

Elon should create a FARA badge for profiles. Everyone who has registered under FARA should have the badge displayed on their profile. Those who have not registered but should have - should have a dropdown box where people can report their accounts.

People who register are following the law. Those who don’t register are breaking the law. Incentivize those who register and report those who are breaking the law. A transparent platform would have no problem implementing the idea I proposed.

The “product” is policy. The current FTC language fails to address this. The only way to combat this is for FARA to work with FTC Lina Khan to create a solution which forces social media influences to disclose the foreign governments they are representing.
