It’s not just that trans women are ‘vulnerable’. Loos & changing rooms don’t exist to ‘protect’ anyone.

The main point is that trans people have a basic human right to exist in the world as others do, which includes being able to use a public bog, as we all urinate & defecate 🤷🏼‍♀️

It's pretty horrible that the people left standing up for trans kids in this country are their families who also sometimes happen to be famous but our politicans by and large are in thrall to the daily mail and Murdoch as well as being all round disgraces.

SpeakOutSister I never understand why the demand is never for more publicly accessible toilets instead of fighting over who goes in them. So many places in the UK closed them due to covid and decided people don't need to pee anymore because they'll have to pay someone to clean them

I spoke today at a Public Relations industry event. About how well-known organisations can and should prepare for reputational attacks in today’s media, political and ‘community’ (but often not really community) campaigns landscape.

SpeakOutSister My experience of ladies toilets is one of queueing, getting into the toilet stall, complain the width isn't enough, hang up coat, hang up bag and do the bizzy. Get dressed, flush, open door, wash hands / dry, and then walk out.

So you just welcomed Natalie Elphicke who said her convicted sex offender (now ex) husband was punished for being attractive to women?

Ok.

This afternoon this culture wars Muppet called me a pronouns wanker in support of the politician who opposed gay marriage. I'd just like to clarify that none of my opinions involve finding or celebrating good things about Hitler, the Nazis or ghettoes.

The law regarding cycling on pavements desperately needs to be clarified and enforced. Cyclists should not ride on pavements that are too narrow for pedestrians and cyclists to use simultaneously, and councils should not designate such pavements as shared space.

I don't buy this 'Labour only accepted her to embarrass the Tories'. Would have been much more embarrassing to reject her moves publicly. But they didn't, they said 'come on in'.
