What a great weekend in #Ireland for the snowdrop gala, gave a talk on winter in the garden, listened to some great speakers and enjoyed my first ever pint of Guinness. What warm, friendly company everyone was. So much knowledge at 1 event.

Great visit to Frank P Matthews Trees today. May have bought some new trees for the land as well as trees for customers. Thanks Jimmy for the recommendation. Have never visited the site but always had deliveries from them. Worth a visit 😁

It was a pleasure to see Roy Lancaster, John Grimshaw, Cotswold Garden Flowers & Steven Edney at Pershore College today for the HPS Annual Lecture Day and AGM. I must admit, a few plants were bought. Well ok, 9 were bought.

The long border in the mist early this morning. Planted for late summer flower and seed heads, we aim to only spend 6 days a year maintaining it.
