📝 Here are some interesting initial findings from the mapping of local journeys that Street Space have done for us.
🚗 51% of journeys were by car
🚶♀️ 34% on foot
🚲 12% by bike or scooter
🚌 2% by bus

We’ve been crowdsourcing 📍 in #Frizinghall & #Owlet for 🚲 parking as part of our project with Bradford-Shipley Travel Alliance
We’ve heard from community members that a 🔑 barrier to 🚲 for short journeys is lack of safe & visible parking, so we’ve made suggestions visible (in temp chalk)!
Put off walking locally (& use the 🚗 instead) due to overgrown, fly tipped cut-throughs?
We heard about this unloved pedestrian link from Canal Rd under the railway in #Frizinghall .. help us give it a #GLOWUP ?
