Biden brings up January 6 and Trump's vow to become a dictator and implores journalists at the WHCA to 'take this seriously ... I'm asking you to rise up to the seriousness of the moment. Move past the horse race numbers and the gotcha moments.'

Trump wants to replace my democracy with a dictatorship. Biden wants to replace my gas stove with one of those magnetic induction ones that heat up incredibly fast. I have never felt more politically homeless.

Dr. John Gartner--founder of Duty to Warn--on my SiriusXM show explains why from a psychological point of view it is clear that Donald Trump has dementia--and he is getting dangerously worse. youtu.be/wt9XLkgUtqo

Here Arthur Delaney 🇺🇸 does a good job laying out what happens when you base a revenge impeachment inquiry on Russian propaganda coming from Russian spies.

This has always been the most absurd argument that Trump apologists have made.

1) Secret Service had a small footprint for Trump, who was an ex-president. They were protecting him, not the several places that had docs.

2) Plenty of foreign nationals became members post 2016.

NEWS --> Prominent conservative Michael Luttig excoriates the right wing SCOTUS justices as 'radical,' predicting that in the 1/6 case, they'll protect Trump entirely.

“I now believe that it is unlikely Trump will ever be tried,' Luttig tells me.

It’s fine.

Foreign spies do not know about the coat hanger in the pinhole trick.

Or that you can use a thin Phillips head screw driver. Or a small Allen wrench.

Reading the transcript of Bill Barr's interview on CNN last night in full really drives home the false equivalency he's attempting to draw.

The idea that regular policy issues (border/clean energy regs/school curriculum) represent the same kind of threat to democracy that Trump…

I realize that many people want to be part of the Great Drama That Explains Their Anger, but 'I grew up in a nation at war' is risible bullshit for anyone younger than, like, 70. /6x

Reminder that this gentleman, who is also an RNC member, was just indicted in Arizona for voter fraud — specifically, falsely claiming to be a duly chosen electoral voter.

I’m not saying I agree with Biden on those (or many) issues, but those things are not even remotely equivalent.

Watching Barr twist himself into a pretzel to defend Trump’s disgraceful disruption of 200 years of peaceful transfer of power was embarrassing.

Bill Barr on @cnn claiming Biden poses a bigger threat to democracy than Trump—who attempted to overturn the will of 81 million voters and helped incite an insurrection—is laughable.

He cited Dems’ wanting to control what stoves and cars we use as a greater danger. What a joke.

Exactly, and the sky didn’t fall. Future Illinois Governors did not fail to govern. They did not stage a January 6 to avoid leaving office. In the many instances in which states have prosecuted former governors including for official acts, none of the parade of horribles followed

A SCOTUS majority could make this quick and easy: “There may be some core presidential duties where some degree of immunity would be appropriate. But we leave that difficult question for another day. Whatever the scope of official duties that might be entitled to immunity, 1/
