Our Poverty and Social Justice in a Post-COVID World conference has now officially LAUNCHED. This 2-day (one in-person, one online) interdisciplinary cross-sector conference will explore how how the pandemic has impacted on different dimensions of poverty in the UK and globally.

In what moral universe can this be the right thing to do: the lower the life expectancy of a local area in 2010-12, the greater the cuts to government funding in the subsequent years. Was this a deliberate policy to increase health inequalities?

Here I am again. Dreaming of the day when there will no longer be a need for us to do this - bringing evidence from NCMD to parliament.
