I see posts about the wild state of Metra stations, but: last month a friend was walking up the stairs at the Van Buren station. The steps were slippery; she slipped and grabbed the railing. The railing was attached with duct tape. She broke her nose and was bruised head to toe.

This thread is a prime example of the misleading ways that antisemitism is often reported. I can tell you as EIC of Jewish Currents that often we look into a high-profile antisemitic occurrence and it falls apart under scrutiny. Most of the time, no one corrects the record.
