We are so thankful for all of those who visited us over #CoronationWeekend and here it is... the celebration photo from 2023 and 1953! Thank you to everyone involved in the making of the photo, it may have been a blustery day but it did not stop our visitors being in high spirits

Today was our first day open as a warm space. We are also open to the community on the 15th and 22nd of February as a free, warm space this winter. Complimentary teas and coffees available, come along and mingle with the local community in a space with warmth and friendship.

The Castle of Mey grounds will be open on Remembrance Sunday, 13 November, from 11am to 3pm. Please come along to view the hand crafted poppy display at the front of the Castle, a special project we have been working on with Caithness Community Connections.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Her Majesty The Queen.

Our thoughts and prayers are with His Majesty The King Charles and members of the Royal Family at this time.

The Castle & Gardens of Mey is the northernmost such attraction in mainland UK.

Taking pride of place in the castle’s walled garden is the rose collection, well-known for being the location beloved by Her Majesty The Queen Mother, who sat surrounded by her favourite Albertine roses.
