The next Asian American still life is "Cakes and Treats", inspired by Wayne Thiebaud's "Cakes and Pies". I took Thiebaud's colorful vibe to draw favorite bakery treats, including mochi, pineapple cakes, shaved ice, mung bean soup, and bubble tea. #illustration #digitalartwork

The close out the series, we have Natura Morta, inspired by Giorgio Morandi's works that deliberately painted everyday items very plainly without labels and leveraged compositional balance to create a sense of tranquility. I added kitchen items I had growing up in this piece.
