Any of my Stamford people know what’s happening to this modernist eyesore? Been half pulled down for ages but nothing seems to be happening. It’s on a route into town and really embarrassing quite honestly. What’s the hold up?

This was one of my favourite paintings at Waddesdon Manor this weekend. Anne Luttrell (1743–1808), Duchess of Cumberland by Reynolds. I like her casual attitude.
