Trees without leaves. 400 yards to the left of the last tree I posted on Saturday this tree was stood.. no leaves & in many ways probably stands out more against that broody sky we had. The sun is out now but early commuters had some real rain to deal with getting to work.

Out for a drive with the widfe this afternoon I had to stop and grab a shot of this tree in a filed. Sunshine with a dark brooding sky in the background. Followed it up with tea and scone at the garden centre we was going to. 😊

Yesterday took a wander around an area I call limestone country, the upper Nedd Valley. Whilst my mate went off to photograph 'that tree' I spent time wandering the old quarry areas. It was a lovely couple of hours but very windy.

Y'day, fog when I got up but couldn't get out til later. Nice mizzle drizzle when I arrived but sadly the tree I went to photograph had fallen, consequence of wet ground & rain on the hill I reckon. As I was on the hill I thought I had taken an image of something !

The plan was Pembs. We ended up in Nth Wales & 48 hours later back at my house I turned to my mate & said that was the best change of plan I have ever had. Sadly we only managed another trip north after that but I still try and fit in a visit to this little bridge when I can πŸ₯°

Nant Pasgan Mawr is a 16 century building in the hills above Talsarnau in the northern Rhinogydd. I passed it enroute to the Neolithic Stone Circle Bryn Cader Faner. Would have been great to get a look inside but this Grade II listed building is boarded up

I spend most days looking at Lasgarn Woods from my home but I don’t explore them often enough. The steep muddy paths are definitely a challenge but absolutely worth it, the scent of wild garlic is beautiful.

Bit of late night editing, listening to tunes (Lizzy Macalpine) and another from today's wander around Silent Valley.

Just had a few hours down my local nature reserve, Silent Valley or Cwm Merddog as it's known to some. Brifht sunshine at times with clouds diffusing the light at times. An almost painterly colour palette down there atm so I experimented with colour & B&W. A colour one 1st.

Just took a photo of this in the garden... not sure what bird it is, a mate says it could be something called a bull sparrow Any ideas?
