As a club founded by an immigrant community, it's only natural some of the more recent arrivals in Scotland would become Celtic fans. The story of Scotland's Polish community is and epic one... tirnaog09.blogspot.com/2018/07/welcom… Witajcie w rajskich chłopcach

Nice to see Dundee United back in the top league, Celtic have had some tough games up there but enjoyed some golden moments too. The title clinching match of the 2008 season comes to mind...

Interesting interview with a Dubliner about Irish fans supporting English clubs. Irish football has to struggle with the EPL & of course the ever popular GAA sports. Makes a good point at the end :-)

Willie Maley on pilgrimage to Lourdes in France. A devout man, he ensured that his Celtic team was open to all and once said, 'It’s not the creed nor his nationality that counts. It’s the man himself.'

Morning all, on this day in 1868, Willie Maley was born in Newry. An important player in Celtic's early years, Maley managed the club for over 40 years. He built several great Celtic sides and established the club as a major force in Scottish and indeed world football.

Joe Craig with a fine strike at Ibrox on a freezing night in 1976. Dalglish glided through games then like a Rolls Royce, he always looked as f he had time on the ball which is the mark of a good player.
