In observance of Labor Day, City Hall, City offices, and Torrance Libraries will be closed on Monday, September 2. Monday refuse and recycling will be collected on Tuesday, September 3. There will be no street sweeping on Labor Day. Street sweeping will return on September 3.

Information from Torrance Public Works – On Tuesday, September 3 through Friday, September 6, there will be several lane closures affecting both directions of traffic on Anza Ave. between Sepulveda Blvd. and Emerald St. due to road work. (1/2)

The monthly test of the Community Alert Sirens will be conducted on the first Wednesday of every month at approximately 11:30 a.m. THIS IS ONLY A TEST! The monthly test is described as follows: One-minute “all-clear chimes” will precede and follow a two-minute “siren tone.”

Update from T P D – The traffic signals at the intersections of Hawthorne Blvd. and Sepulveda Blvd., and Hawthorne Blvd. and Carson St. are still out due to a power outage that occurred earlier this morning. Other signals in the area are intermittently being affected.
