dog toys are, and maybe always have been, completely insane. the “real” ingredient in this plastic pig ear is LITERALLY PLASTIC! the label says it’s “inspired by” a real pig ear. That literally means nothing!!

i bought it/am sure my dog will love it … but still it is insane

I was sorta dreading having to write about cicadas again but then I came across a study that shows how giant bursts of them just completely upend the ecosystem, make birds go crazy, and give fat caterpillars a lifeline.

They are indeed very cool bugs.
