A #narrowboat which featured in a Hollywood film is to make an appearance at the #CrickBoatShow this weekend. Historic boat Renfrew will join six other working boats and dozens of other vessels at the annual canalside jamboree near Daventry. ow.ly/OEPU50RTJ8B

#FridayFeeling : We are delighted that three ‘Tilley’ lamps stolen from the National Waterway Museum Ellesmere Port have been recovered thanks to the keen eye of one of the charity’s volunteers, who spotted the lamps for sale on eBay. ow.ly/sHOk50RTINy
Definitely would rather be #boating than on the motorway. Always a slightly surreal experience boating this bit of #Birmingham . Thanks for sharing Brian Woodhouse
Thank you for the feedback roger and thank you to the Marsworth #volunteers Canal & River Trust London & SE
Great set of pics here from Mike Nash at Sharpness. The #Gloucester #TallShips Festival takes place this weekend.
This #BankHolidayWeekend there's loads of events happening around the waterways. From #TallShips in #Gloucester , the #CrickBoatShow , #Pride in Birmingham, the #BigPaddleCleanUp and floating markets there's loads to choose from. ow.ly/jK7n50RSfqm
If you are going to watch the #TallShips in #Gloucester this weekend don't forget about our Folk for Folk exhibition in the museum. Please come and visit.
With the #CrickBoatShow happening this weekend, we thought we'd have a look in the archive for #ThrowbackThursday to see what boat shows looked like in the past. The photo on the left is from 1959 and on the right ten years later in 1969.
