Our Mental Health Program was thrilled to join Georgia DBHDD and NAMI Georgia for 988 Night with the Atlanta Braves! The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is an invaluable tool for those in crisis and was discussed during the Rosalynn Carter Georgia Mental Health Forum earlier this month.

DBHDD, GA Poison Center, and #988 join forces in a groundbreaking initiative to bolster suicide prevention efforts. This partnership will facilitate the transfer of calls from individuals in distress to specialized behavioral health support services.

This week, we joined the GACSB’s Spring Fling! The Community Outreach team welcomed participants, Commissioner Tanner gave a department update and Ladji Ruffin provided a motivational keynote address. This was a great event to bring back and we were proud to be a part of it!
