Our Mental Health Program was thrilled to join Georgia DBHDD and NAMI Georgia for 988 Night with the Atlanta Braves! The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is an invaluable tool for those in crisis and was discussed during the Rosalynn Carter Georgia Mental Health Forum earlier this month.
May is #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth , and we’re working hard to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues by making sure Georgians know they can call 988, whether experiencing an emergency or just in need of a listening ear.
