Here's a major reason why I like shooting in R3D in Kodak film terms. It's like having an unlimited supply of 500T, 200T, 250D and 50D all at once. Filming in a non raw format is the equivalent to having only 250D or 500T. I prefer the most options instead of limiting myself.

So you want to work in video production…

While filming on my Komodo, I never think using iso as a form of exposure. The shutter angle/speed, VND and FPS all dictate my aperture when filming sports and I typically aim for f/t 2.8. The stop light system on Red cameras are not affected by iso therefore I rarely adjust it.

It is really weird when a hotel asks me if I'm here for business and then they ask my business's name. It's me.

Haven't filmed in Oklahoma before but I'm starting to cross more states off my list.

Here's a key to hiring people on set: Hire people smarter than you. When you hire people that are smarter than you then you'll have more of a chance at having a successful shoot and end product to deliver.

Is your edit really an edit if you didn't pay for licensing?

“The Road to…” is now going to be for season long documentation or multi game documentation. One off videos will still be presented in a similar style but with less titles of “The Road to…” branding in order to focus more on the schools and athletes and less on me.
