⚠️ #HIWFRS crews have attended a road traffic collision on #HaylingIsland this afternoon, with Havant Road expected to remain blocked for some time.

Firefighters from Hayling Island Fire, Havant Fire Station & Cosham Fire Station made the scene safe, with a number of casualties treated by South Central Ambulance Service.

🚒 A multi-agency response was needed to rescue a woman stranded on the Portsmouth waterfront earlier this week.

#HIWFRS crews worked alongside Coastguard and SCAS teams.

🧑‍🚒 On-call firefighters from the #NewForest took part in a training exercise in New Milton on Tuesday.

Cosmetic smoke was used to create a realistic scenario for the on-call teams during their weekly drill night, testing their breathing apparatus and rescue skills.

🧑‍🚒 Congratulations to our brand-new firefighters who graduated from HIWFRS Learning & Development today with a ceremony in front of friends and family!

The T1-24 course began back in January and included two recruits from IOM Fire & Rescue.

⚠️An Amber Wildfire Alert has been issued for this weekend due to a combination of dry weather and slightly stronger winds which will make ignitions likely and result in difficulties in controlling wildfires. #WildfireAware

🚒 A double-decker bus was destroyed in a blaze in Bordon earlier today.

On-call crews from Bordon Fire Station, Liphook Fire Station, Grayshott Fire Stn and Alton Fire Station were on the scene to extinguish the fire this afternoon.
