This Mental Health Awareness Month, it’s essential to prioritize the mental health of our community so we can overcome trauma and thrive.

For Daunte, therapy is a place to work through trauma.

After living unhoused for 17 years, Daunte now lives in his very own apartment thanks to his community, therapist, and LA County Dept of Mental Health.

Currently, LA allows rent increases up to 8-10% in some years for *rent-stabilized units*

2.75% in Pasadena
2.8% in Santa Monica
3% in LA county
3.2% in Beverly Hills

At the LA Waterkeeper Earth Day Event last weekend, we collected water samples to test the river's pH levels and joined the Atwater community in learning about the conservation efforts going on in our district.
