With 🇫🇮 Minister for Development Ville Tavio on the sidelines of the Development #FAC today in Brussels about the need to continue to provide humanitarian aid for Ukrainians affected and the critical humanitarian situation of civilians in Gaza, where a ceasefire is long overdue.

The Council has approved conclusions on humanitarian aid in which it:

✅ calls for better protection in humanitarian settings

✅ recalls that the aim of EU humanitarian aid is to provide a needs-based emergency response

This week, thanks to another two EU humanitarian air bridge flights for #Gaza , we mark the completion of 50 flights carrying over 2100 tonnes of aid.
