My heart is so full. I picked up a few awards for my work this year with the The Ball State Daily News at the Indiana Pro SPJ awards last night (see winning entries below). A great way to celebrate a great year with great people. Thankful for all the support and encouragement this year.

Love being back on campus today for Ball State CCIM Day! Encouraging young journalists to answer the call for inspiring work fills me up, and loved hugging on my former students and colleagues. Thanks for the invite Brooke Kemp Himes and Brian!

It's not just morally wrong but also a massive, unforced error to deploy law enforcement against students who are peacefully protesting. Let students peacefully protest. Let them camp on the lawn. No one benefits from needlessly inflaming the situation. This isn't helping.
