This morning Lara Leigh Fish, Robert Ward, and myself, were shown around by our fantastic Tree Officer, Richard. We had a general discussion on how we can strengthen our tree strategy in #Croydon , apply for additional grant monies, and the wider benefits for our #Community !

This morning I was shown around Happy Valley and Farthing Downs by very dedicated and passionate Council staff, and the friends of #Community group. This is such a beautiful area and #Croydon treasure! They even have a self-guided audio nature trail narrated by Dame Joanna Lumley!

And the Mayor is imposing a ludicrous £12.50 daily car tax which he's targeting disproportionately at the less well off with older cars.

He says he's concerned about the cost of living, but his actions say he's not.

I think Stephen is right. In particular the 'this person is an idiot' hot takes suffer from the base rate fallacy: people who become major party leaders have beaten many competitors to gain a coveted position. It's unlikely they're talentless idiots and unwise to assume so.
