This is one of the few things he actually said about Scotland. This expectation that Scotland ‘accounts’ itself to the Westminster Tories is simply bone chilling and takes their ‘muscular’ unionism to a new absurd level.

In today’s ‘Brexit Freedom’ debate never forget Labour is now another Brexit Party. They want to make Brexit ‘work’ by staying out the single market and not bringing back freedom of movement. They will make Brexit ‘work’ by doing the very same as the hard Brexiteer ideologues.

They got 0.7% of the last vote and every councillor that defected to them lost their seat. No one has even won a position to a community council under an Alba banner.

So the second UK Prime Minister nobody voted for. This time this was decided by an even smaller group of elite Tories. The first thing this unelected PM must do is to chart a way to an early General Election.

Brexit is the single biggest national disaster that the UK ever inflicted upon itself. It can not work. It is almost designed explicitly not to work. It is ideological and crafted to pander to exclusion and British exceptionalism. Labour now fully back it. Shame on Labour.
