Domestic abuse is more than a bruise.

A perpetrator does not have to physically touch you to control or abuse you. It only takes a look, glance or stare to instill fear.

Coercive control is there at the beginning and it's there at the end.

Coercive control is subtle and insidious, making it challenging for the survivor challenging to recognise. It's about establishing power and control overall someone through behaviours such as isolation, verbal threats and emotional abuse.
