A bike bus is such a fun way for children to travel to school, arriving having exercised and socialised, ready to start the day so it's great to see this initiative in Blackpool.

Thanks to everyone who generously donated unloved bikes and a huge well done to the Hub team for their skilled up-cycling so these scooters could be loved again!

The recent bad weather has meant there's been a delay in completing the surfacing of the route, and so the path will now be closed tomorrow. A diversion will be signposted.

It’s National Walking Month! 🚶🏾

Meet Anna and Malcolm, a couple who discovered the joys of walking later in life.

They now volunteer for Sustrans as walking leaders to spread the joy and benefits of walking to others.

Thanks to the happy smiling volunteers who came to our Beeley Wood tidy and trim with Sustrans North this weekend. Everyone put their backs into it on a lovely sunny day to clear overgrowth and run-off that was cramping parts of the Trail. Let’s do it again!

🌱 Yesterday was the first balsam bash of the season on Route 7, County Durham!

A great team effort, with Sustrans volunteers, local geocachers + even Sage employees who were taking their corporate volunteer day.
