We are hiring Synapse Labs to continue building the unified future of Ethereum - Smart contract, backend, DevOps engineers - Protocol Design / Product roles - BD Roles DMs are open, come help unify Ethereum

Ethereum should set a specific burn target, and then use a PID to adjust the floor price of blobs until that target is met. This target could be “voted” by validators the same way the block size is. Not unreasonable to expect L2s to pay some non-zero amount for the L1

It’s mid 2020, you wake up and check DeFi Pulse. Your friend asks you to read a master chef contract and check for infinite mint. You harvest your crops from overnight and buy another 45 ETH. WeebMcGee released two new farms on vFat and there’s a new Andre blog. Life is good.

Three things I don’t think the market really understands 1. How unbelievably cheap DA is. Choose your provider, doesn’t matter, it’s all cheap 2. How much more data will be created by alt-VM rollups than EVM 3. The vast amount of data required to justify DA as a business model

BTC bridge has always been an interesting opportunity, but the core issue has been distribution. Maker offboarding WBTC signals an opening 👀

Request-for-quote (RFQ) is one of the core modules for improving UX friction post rollup-centric roadmap. Liquidity bridged anywhere almost instantaneously.

For all the copy-pastas. This is real tech. It's hard to build & it's the future of Ethereum & there's so much fucking improvement happening here everyday. - Speed nearly doubled since start of August. RFQ now faster other intent protocols on some routes - Relayers w/ more

The pendulum has swung way too far against the modular roadmap. - L2s are not parasitic to L1s - L1s are not and should not be valued on the basis of MEV - There is no single best scaling path — modular and integrated have trade-offs I expect a significant sentiment reversal

run it back turbo. more chains more routes. we compared Synapse, Across & Stargate covering every route combination between Ethereum and major L2s, checking both ETH and USDC. As expected: Synapse is the cheapest on 82 of 100 routes Users save 90% on average
