"Disabled" isn't a bad word! And on the topic of language use, I've discovered today that powered wheelchairs and powered mobility scooters are still called "Invalid Carriages" in UK law 🙃

Seeing other kids rewarded is a massive kick in the teeth. After attending hospital appointments during school hours, then going back to school after said appointment or going home to rest then needing to play catch up. Lots of stress. Only to be made to feel less than peers.

University complaint (and final review) process can be inaccessible, difficult, time consuming, and stressful. Additionally, a university could stretch out they time they spend investigating a complaint, so that the window of opportunity for bringing legal action has closed...
