I would love to know if there is a place where: -MDs learn & work in psychologically safe environments -Moral injury, harassment & abuse are not normalized -Retention is easy b/c ppl feel fulfilled & gratified by work I bet this place doesn't have a #healthcare crisis.

Ugh, I'm tired of weighing in on this. Let me put on my sub, sub specialist hat. FM and GIM are the foundations of care in the community. I cannot function without them. If government refuses to support these (and their actions speak louder than their words), we are lost.

I remain baffled that it’s politically advantageous to take public money and give it to private entities whether it’s schools or healthcare facilities.

Listened to this. Could not help to compare to healthcare. We're great at announcing/building buildings. We're terrible at operating them. Where was "we're going to make AB the best place to work as a teacher" or "we're going to train 20K new teachers.."??

A really good point. I strongly resent my taxes being used to fund Catholic healthcare and Catholic schools. In 2024 I see no reason to teach one religion in schools and I certainly do not believe there is anything called Catholic healthcare. It is reduced healthcare.
