The final chapter of my book, covering what I call Cloudflare Developers's magic trick - Durable Objects - is now available, making the book content complete ✍🏻 This was probably the chapter I was most excited to write, as Durable Objects are unlike anything you'll have encountered

WASM is a marvelous technology. It allows for things such as pglite.dev — an in-browser(!) Postgres(!!) database with pg_vector(!!!) semantic search capabilities and live real-time query update streaming (!!!!). WHAT!? 🤣 Offline-first apps just got a big boost!

startup founders — no one, I mean, no one has early-stage sales sorted out of the gate it is truly trial/error to find your place — it’s never what folks think from start this is what you’re up against >> turning non-consumers into consumers with no market proof >>

In 2020, I built my first side project. I scratched my own itch, then started selling it, and since then, the project has earned me over $15,000. But a few months after releasing it, I was so tired of the maintenance that I wanted to shut it down. switowski.com/blog/i-have-bu…

How to earn loyal customers: • Make a promise on the home page • Deliver on that promise for the ICP • At a fair (not “low”) price • Great customer service Neither complex nor novel. But are you doing it?

rule of thumb for making something people love: unless a good chunk of people will hate it there’s very little chance that even a few will love it we’re all playing things too safe most of the time

I think about spaced repetition forgetting curves for marketing/branding absolutely all of the time. Did you just launch? You need to get in front of people again at 2, 7, 30 and 60 days later if you don't want to be forgotten. This is the stuff brands are built on.
