I made a visit to SWAH this morning, along with reps from other parties, to engage with & show support for the diverse staff following racist events across the North Our health service would collapse without people coming here from all over the world & providing outstanding care

I met with the RQIA Chief Exec today to discuss the impact of the removal of emergency general surgery from SWAH. I raised numerous concerns about the handling of the situation, the consultation, & mitigation. Looking forward to their report & verdict when it's published.

I don't think people outside Fermanagh realise just how dangerous this is. 'But health care reform!?' But nah, have you ever driven from Belleek to Derry on a good day? Let alone a bad one with a seriously ill loved one crying in pain in the back of your car. Unacceptable.

Like someone who keeps going on about their awful ex, I often wonder why Brian Feeney wastes so much time ranting about the SDLP if we are as irrelevant as he claims. I'm always impressed by people who have literally inexhaustible levels of spite, but it's not good for you.

BBC NI is to cover NI's public transport system this week. In Fermanagh, entire communities are serviced by one bus a week. For 69% of local people, it would take more than two hours to reach their closest hospital, night out in Belfast? Unlikely with the last bus at 8.50pm.

Translink provides a beyond abysmal public service to Fermanagh (& that's putting it politely) It's ridiculously expensive (it's cheaper for me to drive) Long journey times Unsafe stops in places & unwilling to adapt Pathetic timetabling Translink needs a complete overhaul

Re the domestic rates cap - very few households have a capital value of over £400k and its removal would raise just £11m. I think it should be removed but it is meaningless to make that small change while leaving in a place a 50% vacant rates non-domestic rates discount along
