I need to confess how much I love Cult of Pedagogy’s TQE method. My students annotated these two poems for homework. I introduced them to TQE, they developed these 12 questions, and we had the best discussions we’ve had so far! Thank you to Marcus Luther too!

A1. I have known that I wanted to be a teacher for a very long time. I come from a long line of educators. My great grandmother was an educator my grandmother taught in PGCPS for 44 years. My parents a both educators. in my blood. 1/2 #bmoreedchat

But I wasn’t always on this path directly. When I was about to graduate from college, I decided to become a teacher because I didn’t have a lot of support for what I wanted to do when I was growing up. I became a teacher to be the support system that I never had. #BmoreEdChat 2/2

While I have some amazing teachers that were career changers my biggest fear is that the idea of becoming a teacher will dissolve.
