This gap between publishing books has been all about giving my time to projects I care about - things like being BookTrust Writer in Residence and championing factual books, being a Jhalak Prize judge, and supporting Jericho Prize + one other project that announces soon!

This collection has given me hope in the past seven months when I have despaired. It has filled me with courage, strength and resilience when I felt depleted.

This is poetry for now and forever!

At this point this has to be the least complicated political conflict in all of our lifetimes.
There’s a huge amount of evidence and information available that shows the atrocities being committed.
If you “can’t speak on it” it’s cos you really don’t care to or too are afraid to.
