This big AI push is taking us back to the mainframe days. Only a few will have systems big enough to participate while the rest will be time-sharing.

I love cross-genre stuff that hits for an increasingly narrow intersection of personas (developer, nba fan, old) and this is 💯

I’m going to unironically share this with the product team because it’s a good point.

What if I just want your basic CRUD appliance? Don’t force the AI on me.

User experience still matters. AI doesn't make everything better.

At this point I'm willing to pay extra for products that are not 'smart'.

The number one feature request I have for most of the SaaS products I'm using: please let me disable all the AI features. All this 'smart' scanning stuff is really slowing me down.
