All about event-driven architectures today in London!
Love this take by David Boyne 🚀: “producers should not know about consumers” is often taken too literally.
Know your system, document it. *You* should know what happens 😅

📣 We're excited to announce High Performance SQLite, a video course coming in June.

You can't have a fast app with a slow database! But database education isn't really made for the modern developer.

Thank you to everyone who brought this article to our attention. We agree that customers should not have to pay for unauthorized requests that they did not initiate. We’ll have more to share on exactly how we’ll help prevent these charges shortly.

Love that Lee and Vercel are walking this back and explaining why it doesn't work well. 'Edge' rendering was an interesting idea, and I'm glad they ran the experiments to see if it could improve the user experience (I like that Vercel does that).

Ultimately, you've got to think

Ohhh yeah the last missing piece 🎉🎉
This is a low level detail you don’t need to care if you’re a bref user, but it will allow making stacks simpler and cheaper!

How Spreaker went serverless with Bref to handle millions of requests per months 👇

(awesome to see how they use Livewire and Laravel Octane too)
