Congratulations to Megan Barnett on becoming Newry’s latest athlete to represent NI or Ireland. Megan was selected to represent NI in Saturday’s junior Home Countries international fell race in Wicklow. She finished first NI athlete, 2nd Irish athlete and 13th overall.

Those with fitness routines don’t be afraid to take regular breaks. Helps regeneration & continuity. I’ve just taken enforced 10-day rest due to work commitments & a heavy cold, restarted today & haven’t lost fitness. Our athletes take 3 weeks rest end of season & 1 day per week
