A special moment at last night’s Evensong: the first of three new commissions written by composers living in Zambia. The composers are receiving mentorship from Lucy Walker who is helping them type the pieces up on Sibelius. This is ‘The Lord is my Shepherd’ by Don

Tomorrow’s Evensong is a celebration of all-things Zambia! We’re joined by Chrispin Lindunda for the anthem, Stainer’s Procession to Calvary. The introit, The Lord is my Shepherd by Don Kaposamweo, is one of a set of new commissions from Zambian composers. 6pm - all welcome!

Rather proud of the The Choirs of Pembroke College, Cambridge upper voices for rising to the challenge ❤️

Tonight at 9:30 the upper voices of the Chapel Choir will be singing Compline - music by Elizabeth Poston & Lise Borel. All are welcome to this short, student-led service - followed by Gs&T & hot chocolate in the antechapel!

A rather lovely thing this week. Every term, the Girls' Choir writes a new piece in their last rehearsal. At the end of last term, they had heard the Chapel Choir singing Roderick Williams's O Adonai, & ended up writing a piece inspired by it! This is its first performance - top C
