Not sure who needs to hear this, but the big communal table at Starbucks is *not* an appropriate venue for a work Zoom.

I can’t imagine sitting by & letting my mate flounder like this. If Jill Biden truly wanted to protect her husband’s legacy—and help heal our divided nation—she’d encourage him to withdraw & throw his full support behind a centrist Democrat like Jared Polis. He’d win in a landslide.

Excellent thread. In the words of Robert Jackson, “Therein is the most dangerous power of the prosecutor: that he will pick people that he thinks he should get, rather than pick cases that need to be prosecuted.” Our antitrust enforcers should read this: justice.gov/sites/default/…

I had a great time talking with these smart folks about U.S. v. Apple. I wish we’d had more time to delve into other aspects of the case, remedies in particular. (Also wish I hadn’t been sporting a shiner…you should see the other guy!)

Enforcing generally applicable time, place, and manner restrictions—regardless of the views of those violating them—is neutral. Choosing not to for some favored groups is not. This isn’t hard.

This is beyond ridiculous. Chicago has always had reasonable time, place, and manner restrictions, which are entirely consistent with free speech. To equate enforcing its viewpoint-neutral policies with abandonment of its commitment to free speech is absurd. WP knows better.

Very pleased to see that my and Julian’s (and Judge Ho’s) old boss, Judge Jerry Smith, will continue to assess candidates according to their individual merits, as conservatives traditionally have done.

I’d be interested in Bill Ackman’s thoughts on this piece by Northwestern law prof Max Schanzenbach. wsj.com/articles/israe…
