Squeezing on to a wooden table in a beer garden with a cold drink. Looking at the menu but choosing the burger, again. Asking if it’s okay to get some ketchup and mayo, please. Telling friends go on have a chip. Bloody wasp! Wishing you’d worn sun cream. Can’t wait for that.

restaurateurs.... Please, please STOP selling us burgers in brioche buns. STOP. Nobody likes them. I mean nobody. I've never met anyone who said, "oh I love a good brioche" 🤨Just give us a good roll/bap/barm whatever your region calls it 🤦🏻‍♀️

Why aren’t housing developers compelled to fit solar and heat pumps to all new properties? All that land, all that roof space wasted. Can local councils not step in and demand this through planning? Seems bonkers that we aren’t doing so much more.

“Shall we have a roast today?” “Yes, lovely!” “Can you pop to the shop and get a few bits?” “What do we need?” “Every single item that makes up a roast”

Not one of these children had been in a field before. There were shrieks of joy as they ran up the hill. For their health, our health and the health of the planet, we need to ensure EVERY CHILD has the opportunity to connect to the land and understand where food comes from.

A Brit, almost horizontal due to the gale, with leaves, twigs and litter smashing into their face, umbrella inside-out, eyebrows blown clean from their head and half-closed eyes watering with tears fiercely whipped away by the gust, is unable to resist uttering: “Bit windy”

Went on an early morn Kayak on my bill today. A *hunky* grey seal popped up sooo close I nearly wee’d and fell out. Curlews zoomed, turnstones zipped and shags soared. Gannets plummeted like arrows into the blue. How flippin’ brill!
