Among patients with refractory OHCA, #ECPR significantly improved long-term survival in the Prague OHCA trial. There were no differences in the neurological outcome, major cardiovascular events and QoL between the groups.

Out of 307 patients treated with ECPR, 19% donated at least one solid organ (17% DBD + 1.6% DCD)

The total number of solid organs donated was 167, 3.0 (IQR 2.5-4.0) solid organs per solid organ donor

Kidney and liver were the most frequent donated organs
