The first part of the week is warm inland but some significant cooling will take place before the weekend.

Another trough rolls into the PacNW this week, this will keep onshore flow going and it will cool the interior the second half of the week.

Near the coast night and morning marine clouds with afternoon clearing is again the order of the day...more mild to cool conditions there with interior areas much warmer.

The weekend is here and so is an ample amount of marine influence. Clouds could be stubborn to clear at some beaches. Here is what you need to know from Chief Meteorologist Dave Hovde. ksby.com/weather/persis…

The weekend will feature mild conditions due to a lot of marine presence. Next week inland temps come back to the 80s but not much change at the coast with more marine influence due to generalized onshore flow.

I don't see any rain in the models but I will agree with the Climate Prediction Center that the 8-14 does look generally cool with a series of troughs and onshore flow dominating weather in The West.

A trough digs into The West over the weekend. This will keep marine layer in the forecast due to onshore flow. Inland temps sag Saturday and rebound a bit Sunday.

CHECK THIS OUT: This is what night and morning clouds with afternoon clearing looks like (except for beaches where the clouds could linger or only partially clear).

Home or away this weekend? I wouldn't call the weather all that dynamic. Locally inland temps warm a little Sunday. Forecasts for any location can be found at KSBY.com or on the KSBY Weather App.

The run of weather ahead looks pretty quiet.. but if you are waiting for warmer weather you might have to be patient. Here's what I think about the days and weeks ahead. ksby.com/weather/persis…

The weekend looks to feature more marine influence keeping temps mild to cool. Some warming later next week looks possible, but generally, the next two weeks don't look very warm.
