Once the sun totally disappears behind the moon it is ok to remove glasses. As soon as totality was ending we put glasses back on because even a sliver of sunlight can damage eyes.

You are so right David. I was with amazing producer Susan Kroll and photojournalist Bill Angelucci! They often cover war zones & disasters. It was amazing to spend eclipse day with them!
